2. Interfaces

DICOM Worklist – After receiving a patient, his data is being transfered to relevant modalities.

HL7-Interface – The HL7-Module enables data exchange between KIS and CARW (from “Order entry” to KIS diagnostic reports)
PAD-Interface – enables private billing
Integration of digital dictating systems with/without speech recognition, data transfer from blood pressure monitoring, integration of of text messaging functions

3. Function-related worklists

Clearly arranged worklists for every workplace to edit a patient’s procedure.
Status bars that display the current process state of a patient.

4. Diagnosis

When Patients are selected from individual physicians’ lists to be diagnosed, the dictating system and PACS examination scans are automatically displayed.

Display of diagnostic findings and PACS scans, digital dictating system, speech recognition, physician-related diagnostic tools, transfer statistics, fax function

5. Billing

Fast an easy billing process, control of fees
State insurance (Germany): accredited since 1997, daily test runs for necessary corrections , quarterly accounts
Private insurance (Germany): individual incremental factors, allowance according to GOÄ §6a, Single- or group billing, PAD-billing, administration of incoming payments and dunning processes

6. Statistics

CARW provides a large number of specific statistical analysis functions

Appointments are represented as bars. Their width matches the examinations's duration. A specific colour can be assigned to every examination.

Patients are always in focus. A patient's case sheet can be accessed at any time.

Automatic retrieval via PACS and digital dictation allow a swift report of the medical findings. Colleagues can receive findings the same day.
